It is a way to cool off rapidly after staying in a sauna and as a stress relief. Scientific studies provide evidence for health benefits. Winter swimming contributes to better general well-being. Especially swimmers experience less stress, fatigue, and more vigor. Swimmers who suffer from rheumatism, fibromyalgia or asthma say that winter swimming relieves pain.
